About Explorer's Bus Tour

Interpretive programs begin on the May long weekend and run until mid-October.  Specific dates/times for 2015 guided hikes, tours and other public programs will be available in February.  Please check back for details then. 


Escape the ordinary and venture into the rugged badlands of Dinosaur Provincial Park. The Explorer's Bus Tour provides the opportunity to experience the stunning views of the park's beautiful Natural Preserve from the comfort and safety of the tour bus.  We also provide you the chance to discover this amazing environment for yourself along the way.



  • This 2-hour bus tour is rated "easy" and is suitable for all ages.
  • Participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult. "Babes in arms" must have a full seat reserved for them even if they are being held by a parent.  (This program is not able to accommodate strollers.) 
  • The program is wheelchair accessible.  Please call 403-378-4344 for wheelchair service. 
  • There is a limit of 24 participants per tour.  
  • For your comfort and safety, please bring water, a hat, sunscreen and insect repellent on the tour.
  • Arrive at the Visitor Centre 30 minutes before the scheduled tour time to pick up your tickets.  Tour buses leave on time.
