Wednesday Downtown Lethbridge Farmers’ Market


Lethbridge Exhibition Park and Downtown Lethbridge BRZ announced today that the 12th annual Downtown Farmers Market is in preparation to open on Festival Square in Downtown Lethbridge at 3rd Avenue and 6th Street South.

The Downtown Lethbridge Farmers’ Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on each Wednesday from July 5th to September 6th.

24 vendors have registered to attend the opening of the Wednesday Market. There are 19 returning full time vendors and 5 new full time vendors, and casual vendors coming to diversify the market each week. Over 700 people attend the Wednesday market weekly.

New vendors are still being accepted. Applications also are being taken for the Community Table, which offers a free table to non profit groups.

Prize giveaways will highlight the Downtown Market also. In celebration of the 120 Anniversary, Exhibition Park will give away a $120 Gift card for the Saturday Farmers Market. Entry will only be at the Downtown Market. Draw to be made after the Sept. 6 Downtown Market.

Downtown Lethbridge, visitlethbridge and the Lethbridge Bulls Baseball Club also will be part of the kick-off to the Summer farmers Market next Wednesday with weekly contests to win tickets to Bulls games.

In addition, Lethbridge Bulls players will be present with their Mascot, T-Bone for a meet and greet and autograph session. Bring your Bulls souvenirs to get autographed. There will also be bleacher ticket vouchers giveaways.

In addition, Downtown Lethbridge, and the Lethbridge Bulls have teamed up to provide the Ultimate Fan Experience package for the final Downtown Farmers Market on September 6th.

The Ultimate Fan Experience package includes two Lethbridge Bulls season tickets for the 2018 season, two baseballs autographed by the 2017 team, two hats and two t-shirts with a total value of $750. Details can be found at and
