Take in a tea ceremony demonstration with volunteer Sheila McHugh inside our tea pavilion! Sheila trained in Japan for many years to learn how to do the tea ceremony's many intricate steps.

Learn about the history of the Japanese tea ceremony and then watch as she walks guests through it. Volunteers may be allowed to join her to try a bowl of matcha and Japanese sweets.

Tea ceremonies are included with your admission to the garden.
