Drama and great music this week


Things are about to get crazy for live music in Southern Alberta.
 Tonight  if you are on the road, check out the Glorious Sons who plays Sidelines with Teenage Kicks on Friday, March 21. The Glorious sons have their song “White Noise played a lot on modern rock radio. Check out the interview with the Glorious  Sons on www.labeat.ca. Everything cooks on March 22, with two outstanding shows happening.
 If you like your rock music with a touch of bagpipes,  you will like the Mudmen, who play Average Joes, march 22, so check out the interview with them as well.
 If you love the blues, Marshall “ the Doctor of the Blues” Lawrence returns to Lethbridge  to make a house call at the Slice with a full band, so check out the interview with him about the International blues challenge in Memphis and  a successful year with his CD “House Call.”
 It is also a good week for drama. The University of Lethbridge winds up their main stage season with Restoration Comedy the Country Wife, which runs until March22. So look for a preview of that production as well.
 And Shakespeare in the Park returns this summer. they hold auditions for this years presentation of the “Twelfth Night,” so look for the details on the auditions  as well.
