Medalta

Medalta in the Historic Clay District is such an amazing cultural hub for our community. A few ways we are staying connected to them is by following them on social media, and combing through their website. Did you know they have an Online Collections Database! You can head to the website and look at many photos of the various items that Medalta created through the years.
Take a look and share your favourite piece on social media!

Their Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Historic Walking Tour

Another way we are enjoying the outdoors, while practicing social distancing is heading downtown and looking at some of the amazing historic buildings. How many times have you walked or drove past these buildings without actually seeing them. Now is the perfect time to learn the stories of Medicine Hat’s past. Find the historic walking tour in our Experience Guide on page 22, or online here.

Another way to enjoy some of Medicine Hat’s cultural attractions at this time is to view some Public Art. The City of Medicine Hat has a great Cultural Tour Map that shows locations, mentions the various artists and has a short description of the work. Check it out here.
