Think Pink Week

Since opening in January 2011, Pink Tie Events in Lethbridge has been very busy in the community, they have been involved in over 630 events, and not just weddings; corporate functions and fundraising events too. So from brides to the Christmas Party planning committees, to the fundraiser organizers, Pink Tie Events would like to say “Thank you Lethbridge!” The wedding & event decorating company is excited to introduce, “Think Pink Week”, starting Monday, June 17th with an open house at their store with refreshments and treats all day long, volunteering at non-profit organizations like the Lethbridge Food Bank and the PAW Society Tuesday-Thursday and ending Friday, June 21st when they will be displaying their gratitude to the community by delivering handmade goodies, and spreading smiles. Their goal Friday is to visit and hand deliver treats to 100 people; both businesses and people they meet along the way.

Ashley Walker and Whitney Christensen, co-owners of the company, say that Lethbridge is an amazing, supportive community. “Lethbridge is a wonderful city to do business, and we are grateful of the support we have received over the past couple years. In over 600 events, it would be fair to say that over 50,000 people have attended an event decorated by Pink Tie Events. And on June 21st, we would like to say thank you to as many of them as we possibly can.”– says Ashley. On Friday, June 21st, the Think Pink ladies will be giving back and saying thank you to the community by spreading smiles and delivering handmade treats to 100 people. Whitney is already planning their outfits for Friday, “I don’t want to give anything away, but if you see us out, we won’t be hard to miss!”

Giving back isn’t anything new to Ashley & Whitney; they love to get involved in fundraising and non-profit events. Pink Tie Events has been the decorating sponsor for 25 different events, a combined value of more than $25, 000 in donations.
