Corey Bosch and Kingsley Mann started their friendship over 13 years ago when they were managers at Office Depot. With well over 25 years of retail experience and years of friendship, the paintball, airsoft, tactical gear and surplus business was just the right move to make for the duo

A very long drive across the country the two best friends shared together began a conversation of the need of a paintball supply store in Lethbridge.

Being enthusiasts of the sport, the two started their two-and-a-half year journey to open their own brick and mortar storefront in Lethbridge.

Black Talon opened their doors in June of 2012 in the north side of Lethbridge, but they knew that downtown Lethbridge was truly where they wanted to be.

“From the beginning we wanted to come straight downtown, but we just couldn’t find property at the time,” explains Kingsley Mann, co-owner of Black Talon.

“We bit the bullet and opened up in the industrial park, just to get our name out there and part of our business plan was to move to a better location, with great foot traffic.”

They aren’t just paintball and airsoft suppliers either; they have plenty for the everyday hunter or weapons enthusiast to check out too. In fact, Black Talon has a little something for everyone in their store. From baby camo outfits, pink camo backpacks, to the coming back in style Tilly caps, Black Talon has a little something for everyone.

“Merchandising, selling and keeping our product new and fresh is something Black Talon does every day,” says Bosch, co-owner of Black Talon.

These best of friends have both the experience and expertise to provide an exemplary paintball, airsoft and tactical experience to those needing equipment and advice.
