Lean six sigma yellowbelt certification

Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that combines the waste reduction principles of lean with the quality management concepts of Six Sigma. Lean, popularized by Toyota, seeks to improve efficiency by improving workflow: no effort or time is wasted because the right things get to the right place at the right time. Developed by Motorola in 1986, Six Sigma is a set of techniques that reduces product defects through improved work processes. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is an activity-filled three-day training workshop perfect for project sponsors, project team members, and other key project resources that trains and certifies participants to a full Yellow Belt level in the combined methodology of Lean Six Sigma. Participants are provided soft copy (electronic) templates of eight Lean Six Sigma tools covered in the course, such as the Project Charter, SIPOC process map, Cause and Effect (C&E) Matrix, and Root Cause (Fishbone) diagram. NOTE that there is a cost for this program but you can save 66% of the course fees using the Canada Alberta Job Grant.  All course fees must be paid up-front before attending the first session on May 8, 2018. Session starts at 8 am and ends at 5 pm each day:  Tuesday, May 8, 2018 Wed, May 9, 2018; and Thurs, May 10, 2018. Please arrive at 7:45 am each day. A free parking pass will be provided for each person attending, for each day. Note that a FREE Lunch and mid morning and afternoon snacks will be provided for each day of the training.
