The Taber Pheasant Festival is Canada's Biggest Hunting Festival!


*Winner of the 2015 ALTO Award for Outstanding Sustainable Tourism


The week kicks off with Novice hunts on October 21st followed by Regular hunts throughout the week. A dog handling seminar, free lunch's, culinary events and a Scotch tasting are just some of the activities hunters can enjoy in the Taber area during Pheasant Festival.

Taber Pheasant Festival Culinary Event - Oct 23
Treat your taste buds in Taber with Chefs Sean Cutler, Mark Ingram, and Alaa Daoud. Pheasant has never tasted so good. $15/person, starts at 7pm at Tank 77, Heritage Inn Taber.


Pheasant Hunts - Oct 23-28
Teams of up to 4 hunters will be allowed on each release site for either a morning or afternoon time.


Scotch Tasting & Wing Night - Oct 25
Sample varieties of Scotch and join in the fun. Must be 18 years and older. Starts at 7pm at the Heritage Inn Taber. Discuss anything and everything Scotch with out in-house ACA expert.


Pheasant Festival Celebration Dinner - Oct 26
Come mingle with hunters, land owners, ACA Staff, organizers and sponsors of the festival. Enjoy a full banquet meal and bid on the silent auction items available. Tickets can be purchased in advance either online at taberpheasantfestival.com or by calling 1-877-410-1999.
